A 61 —year old Lake Stevens woman died Saturday night in a traffic crash after los— ing control of the pickup she was driving and traveling off the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 v about ten miles south of Ashland. The pickup was pulling a trailer with a 32-foot aluminum boat. For unknown reasons, the pickup traveled along the side of the freeway, up an em- bankment and came to rest on its top. Gracey, who was the sole occupant, was using safety restraints was pronounced deceased at the scene. OSP troopers from the Central Point Area Command office are continuing the investigation to determine the cause of the fatal crash.
